Sitting on moral high ground for so long, Joe Biden has enjoyed the opportunity to watch from above as various Republican frauds, charlatans, and sociopaths wallow in the mud through a series of crimes, indiscretions, and lies.
Donald Trump, so long the master of deceit and misrepresentation, now has challengers for the title Scoundrel-in-Chief.
Marjorie Taylor Greene of the great state of Georgia, the wacko who some say is currently the de facto Speaker of the House, will tell anyone willing to listen that California wildfires are the result of Jewish space lasers and that school shootings were staged.
Matt Gaetz of Florida, apparently not a friend of fellow-right winger Kevin McCarthy, is certainly innocent of the charges of sex-trafficking that have been raised against him.
And Kari Lake, although denied residence in the Arizona governor’s mansion, most certainly won the gubernatorial race in Arizona, as she so vehemently claims.
And then there’s George Santos—where do I even begin listing his lies. Is there no “fact” about this man’s background or being that actually conforms to reality?
Till recently, our Joe watched with glee, as troves of classified documents were uncovered at Mar-a-Lago and other assorted random Trump-related locations. What kind of jerk would transport all sorts of documents that were top secret and leave them sitting around?
Um, well, Joe would, or did, or…?
Joe, how could you be so thoughtless and irresponsible? How could you be so careless? For every document investigators find in the various homes you own and rent, your place on the moral high ground slips. And I worry that instead of a safe perch, you are now on a slippery slope.
Smelling blood, those Republicans will never be happy until they find the dirt on son Hunter. They won’t be satisfied until they uncover every bit of dirt on yours and his real estate dealings, locally and world-wide. Could some of them have been, let’s say, questionable?
And what about Dr. Jill, who may never be referred to a simply Jill Biden (suggesting that the occasional Jeopardy host must be referred to as Dr. Mayim Bialik). Did Dr Jill cheat on her exams, hand in papers late, drop out of a Masters Program but call herself “Dr” anyway?
Joe, from now on at least, watch your P’s and Q’s. Stay on the straight and narrow. No jaywalking. No cheating on your taxes. Leave those headlines to George Santos and other assorted low-life characters. And, whatever you do, please don’t shoot anyone on Fifth Avenue in broad daylight just to test whether you could be prosecuted for it. We’ll leave that suggestion to our dear former President.
