The Trump Administration by the Numbers

Read Time:1 Minute, 40 Second

National Security

2—The number of times Pete Hegseth directly communicated information about top-secret military operations to colleagues, friends, and family using the far less than fully secure Signal app.

3—The number of top aides Hegseth fired this past week. Their sin: Intential leaks.

Lesson learned: Intentional leaks by others = very bad. Unintentional leaks by self = who cares.

The Economy

60—Number of countries that have been charged (and then not charged, but may be charged, but soon may be re-charged) reciprocal tariffs by the Economist-in-Chief, Mr. Donald Trump. Rather than simply impose tariffs based on threats to our economy, and not wanting to risk being hated by less than  every country in the world, the following is a partial lists of the tarrified countries: Vanuatu, Liechtenstein, Nauru, Mauritius, Brunei, and St Pierre and Miquelon.

Lesson learned: None at all, at least not by the economic genius who has filed for bankruptcy a whopping six times.

16–The  bad news: This is the percentage that the S&P Index has fallen since Trump took office.

50—The good news. This is the percentage that Tesla stock has fallen since its high value in December.

Lesson learned: 401 K’s, ouch. Nonetheless, billionaires beware. (And, by the way, I didn’t key that Tesla. Really, I didn’t.)

Level and type of activity

5–The number of bills signed into law so far during the Trump second coming.

124—The number of executive orders signed by King Trump since ascending the throne in Jan.

24—The number of days spent on the golf course by you-know-who since Jan 20.

Lesson learned for all current and would-be dictators: There’s very little heavy lifting involved in running a country by fear, threat, and edict.

Long term Prediction

100—The probability that this guy gets his eventually.

Ultimate lesson to cling to: What goes around comes around. All this won’t end happily for Fred’s evil son.
